An unusual law in Thailand is that a car cannot park at the side of the road facing oncoming traffic. Even in a marked parking bay, as in the image,
This law has caught out many people including me (I was let off with a warning). I find it strange that laws such as this one are enforced whereas other laws are not. Especially overtaking where it is prohibited. Perhaps it is the easy target attitude. A parked car is more easy to target than a moving one 5555555.
I thought I would post this as a reminder that some traffic laws are enforced!
